Using Remogen Omega effectively is all about precision and hygiene, as these drops use a specialized formulation to stabilize the tear film. Since Remogen Omega is a "lipid-replenishing" drop, it is designed specifically for people suffering from evaporative dry eye (MGD).

Step-by-Step Application

1. Preparation: Wash and dry your hands thoroughly. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before use. You should wait at least 15 minutes after application before putting lenses back in.

2. The Drop: Shake the vial gently if instructed. Tilt your head back and gently pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.

3. The Technique: Hold the dropper directly over the eye without letting the tip touch your eye, eyelashes, or any other surface. Squeeze one drop into the pocket.

4. The Wait: Close your eye for 1 to 2 minutes. Press your finger gently against the corner of your eye (near the nose) to prevent the drop from draining into your tear duct. This ensures the lipids stay on the surface of the eye where they are needed.

• Frequency: Typically, 1 drop is applied 4 times daily, though your optician may suggest a different schedule.

• Storage: Keep the bottle at room temperature. Because Remogen Omega contains sensitive fatty acids, ensure the cap is tightened immediately after use to prevent oxidation.

Ingredients

Each 1 ml of the solution contains:

• Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) ethyl ester: 1.2 mg (Omega-3)

• Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) ethyl ester: 0.02 mg (Omega-3)

• $\alpha$-tocopheryl acetate: Vitamin E (Antioxidant)

• Glycerol: Humectant/Lubricant

• Polyacrylic acid & Acrylates/alkyl acrylate crosspolymer: Hydrating polymers/Carbomers
