MacuShield Gold provides a MacuShield Original formulation with additional vitamins and minerals. Scientific research shows that the three nutrients; meso-zeaxanthin, lutein and zeaxanthin are found at the back of the eye, at the macula, where they form the macular pigment. MacuShield Gold combines these three macular carotenoids in a formula containing meso-zeaxanthin, zinc to help maintain normal vision, copper, vitamin C and vitamin E, which contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. MacuShield Gold is a three-a-day product. The 3 capsules can be taken together, or separately throughout the day but we always recommend taking them with a meal. Pregnant or lactating women, or those taking medication for blood thinning should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this product. |
