More about Dailies Aquacomfort Plus

  • Daily disposable lenses make them perfect for those with a busy lifestyle
  • Ultra-thin design offers comfortable wear
  • Blink activated technology keeps your eyes moisturised for longer hours of wear.

Dailies Aqua Comfort Plus are high quality lenses from Alcon. Blink activated technology keeps your eyes from drying out for up to 12 hours a day, even in air-conditioned environments. When coupled with the ultra-thin design of each lens, it’s this technology that makes Aqua Comfort Plus so comfortable to wear.

Alcon use their unique Lightstream technology to put together each lens, so you can be sure of a consistent performance. This means you can throw away your old lenses every night and look forward to clear, comfortable vision every morning.

How many hours can I wear Dailies Aqua Comfort Plus?

The recommended time is based on the individualities of your eyes. Generally speaking, they're designed to be comfortable for up to 12 continuous hours. After this time, simply dispose of them. Please bear in mind these lenses are single use only. Please don’t use them on consecutive days.

How to insert your contact lense

FIRSTLY & MOST IMPORTANTLY

Wash your hands with an anti-bacterial soap, rinse and dry your hands with a lint free towel.

CHECK THAT THE LENS IS THE CORRECT WAY ROUND

To do this, put the lens on the lens on the tip of your finger and hold it up to light. If the edges flare out, its inside out. If you’re wearing Acuvue lenses they have a 1-2-3 indicator. make sure the digits aren’t backwards.

USING YOUR RIGHT HAND

Gently hold your upper eyelid with one finger so you don’t blink or get your eyelashes in the way, carefully pull down your lower eyelid with your other fingers.

MOVE THE CONTACT LENS

Slowly towards your eye. Look upward as you place it on your eye, and slowly release your eyelid and close your eye for a momnet to allow the lens to settle. Repeat for your other eye.

How to remove your contact lense

FIRSTLY & MOST IMPORTANTLY

Wash your hands with an anti-bacterial soap. Then look up and carefully pull down your lower eyelid with your middle finger.

BRING YOUR INDEX FINGER TO YOUR EYE

Slowly until you touch the lower edge of the lens, and slide the lens down tot he lower white part of the eye.

GENTLY SQUEEZE THE LENS

Between the thumb and index finger and remove it. Repeat this for your left eye.
